What is communication technology?

Communication Technology is the transfer of messages among people and/or machines through the use of technology. These messages can be used to help people make decisions, solve problems, and control machines. 

What are some examples of Communication Technology?

Communication Technology today can be found in many forms. Some examples are blogs, websites, live video, social media technologies, and email communication. Vlogs, podcasts, group forums, and webchat are some other examples. 

How is it relevant today?

Communication Tech has evolved from just a way of communicating information. In today’s society it is a way to market oneself  and their brand, to keep up with friends, and be updated on one’s favorite brands and what they are doing. As social media platforms evolve and age, they are becoming havens for content creators and entrepreneurs. The networking capability and access to the entire world is a huge draw for these professionals. These platforms now give users the capability to create business accounts and check insights on posts, following, and reach. Facebook also features a group feature for like minded people to connect and share work, ideas, and just communicate. 

How you can make use of communication technology

Anyone can make use of these tools. They are not exclusively productive for professionals and entrepreneurs. I have my personal Instagram account set to a business account so I can view my insights and other data and best understand my demographic and audience. Communication tech is great for the average person in this respect and in that one can communicate and share things with others.
